1st Logo (September 8, 1996-April 28, 1997)[edit | edit source]

Logo: On a Blue's Clues background, the host (Steve, Kevin, Duarte, HyunSup Shim, Pinkie Pie, Marshall, Lincoln Loud, SpongeBob, Barney, Tom, Yakko, Wakko, Pinky, The Brain, Uncle Grandpa, Goofy, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fifi La Fume, Babs Bunny, Wubbzy, Shirley the Loon, Elmyra Duff, Dee Dee, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, Daphne, Woody Woodpecker or Bugs Bunny) dances and talks about how to play Blue's Clues.

Variants:

  • Starting with the episode Adventures in Art, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper were added on the logo.
  • Starting with the episode Pretend Time, Tickety Tock and Mailbox were added on the logo.
  • The Hebrew version has the Blue's Clues print logo shown at the end, which is shown as the intro for the series.

Technique: The close-up shot of the camera when the host sat on the thinking chair.

Music/Sounds: A longer version of Play Blue's Clues, which was shortened for the next logo.

Availability: Uncommon. This logo mainly appeared on Blue's Clues. Last seen when it was last re-run on Nick Jr. (formerly "Noggin") on July 1, 2019.

2nd Logo (October 6, 1997-September 29, 2003)[edit | edit source]

Logo:

  • October 6, 1997-November 9, 1998: A redone version of the previous logo which starts at the last part of the first verse.
  • November 10, 1997-February 15, 1999: Steve is now heavier, and looks close to his design from the previous logo, and he now wears a more greenish shirt.
  • March 14, 1999-October 9, 2000: Steve is now much lighter, and his hair is short as Joe's hair. His shoes are also a lighter shade of brown and his shirt is darker and in a more bluish shade of green.
  • April 3, 2000-April 2, 2000: His outfit was reverted to the one from the previous logo.
  • October 2, 2000-October 15, 2001: Same as the previous version, but with the same dance moves from the 1999 revision and a slightly chubbier version of Steve.
  • October 8, 2001-April 29, 2002: Same as the previous version, but with a skinnier version of Steve.
  • April 29, 2002: Both Steve and Joe are dancing to the song.
  • April 30, 2002-September 29, 2003: Joe replaced Steve as the host of Blue's Clues.

  • On What Does Blue Want to Build, Steve wears his toolbelt.
  • On Blue’s ABC’s, Steve's name is on the back of his shirt.
  • On Blue’s Big Treasure Hunt, Steve wears his backpack.
  • On Blue’s Big Pajama Party, Steve wears his pajamas instead of his outfit.
  • On Blue’s Big Holiday, Steve wears a short sleeved shirt.
  • On Nature, Blue’s Big Car Trip and Soccer Practice, Steve/Joe sings the song outside instead of inside.
  • On Whats So Funny, Steve shows his sock puppet at the end of the logo.
  • On The Wrong Shirt, Steve is in his opposite clothes.
  • On Superfriends, Steve wears his superhero costume.
  • On Un Dia Con Plum, the song is in both English and Spanish.
  • On Blue’s Backyard Ballgame Bonzana, Steve wears a short sleeved shirt and his shoes from the 1999 revision.
  • On Joe’s Clues, the song shows how to play Joe’s Clues instead of Blue’s Clues.
  • On The Fairy Tale Ball, the Blue’s Clues background is replaced with The Fairy Tale Ball background.
  • On Meet Blue's Baby Brother, the Blue's Clues background was replaced with Puppyville.
